Coritiba wins the 2019 Men's Football 7 Americas League in an electrifying final

The 2019 Men's Football 7 Americas League brought together 20 teams in Montevideo, Uruguay, solidifying itself as the premier club competition in the sport on the continent. The tournament, held in partnership between Liga Fut7 Uruguay and Football 7 International, awarded the champion a spot in the Club World Cup.

In the grand final, Coritiba and Corinthians faced off in a balanced match that ended in a 2-2 draw in regulation time. The decision went to shoot-outs, where Coritiba came out on top, securing their second consecutive title in the competition and reaffirming their dominance in South American football 7.

In addition to the trophy, Coritiba dominated the individual awards. Vassoura was named the best player of the tournament, while Lucas Roxadelli was chosen as the best coach. Diego, the goalkeeper for Corinthians, received the best goalkeeper award, and Marcelo Fattori, from Chapecoense, was crowned the top scorer of the competition.

América (Brazil) and Chapecoense (Brazil) shared third place, completing the podium of the tournament.
